FAQs

Q - Can you have more than one collar connected for multiple dogs?

Answer:

Yes, just make sure to pair each collar separately to the transmitter.

Q - How long does the charge last on the receiver?

Answer:

Charge lasts about 10 hours. Have in mind that if you have a lot metal in the area the collar will tend to turn off.

Q - Does the system work for square and rectangular yards?

Answer:

Yes, the collar works for all types of terrain and yards. If your yard is sloped you will have to be more careful setting up the perimeter. Just set the radius a little less to not extend beyond corners since the zone is circular.

Q - Is the transmitter waterproof? Where would you recommend I place the system?

Answer:

The collar is IPX67 waterproof, however the transmitter is not. The transmitter can be placed in your house or wherever you prefer. For example, if you are going camping you can take it and place it in your backpack for on the go use. The perimeter will work the same. Just set the range you want and let the fence do it's magic.

Q - How small can you set the radius?

Answer:

Approximately 2.5M

Q - Is there a limit on how many times you can change the boundary (if you move or are traveling with your dog)?

Answer:

There are no set amount of times in which you can change the range or boundaries of the fence. You can change the perimeters to your liking wherever and whenever you like.

Q - Does this warn the dog as they approach the boundary or just if they pass it?

Answer:

The collar makes a series of beeps as it comes close to the boundary. Once your dog passes the boundary, the collar will initiate a shock. Keep in mind, a wireless dog fence does not replace an actual fence. You need to train your dog to build the healthy habit of respecting the zone. A wireless dog fence will never replace a legitimate wall. Keep that in mind when purchasing any wireless dog fence. If a power outage occurs or the battery dies on the collar then the wireless fence will cease to operate and the receiver will be active.

Q - Will this work as a permanent fence? I Have almost 3 acres and want to know if the charge of the collar will last while I'm gone?

Answer:

The collars battery can retain on average 10 hours of activity. Just set the perimeter to the radius you desire and you are done.

Q - How do I request a refund if I am dissatisfied with the product?

Answer:

All purchases are final. Unfortunately, InvisiPup cannot offer any refunds of products purchased through this site.

Q - What happens if the transmitter turns off?

Answer:

If the transmitters power is shorted or the battery dies/gets disconnected then the wireless fence will cease to operate properly. Keep in mind, the receiver will be active, which may beep and shock until a signal resumes.

Q - If mounted inside, does the house become an obstacle or block the transmitter?

Answer:

Walls may, at times, block the signal. The best spot is in a clear area. The signal may even go through thick foliage and other items.

Q - Do you have to have internet for the device to work?

Answer:

No, this dog fence does not need internet/WiFi to work.

Q - Can you set it up so the dog can still come in the house?

Answer:

Yes, you can set up the fence so that your house is inside the set perimeter. Which may allow your dog to enter and exit the house freely without triggering the device.
